Fonts for xTool lasers
xTool Creative Space uses every font installed on your computer. So the real question is which fonts engrave well. These are picked for it: sturdy small text, connected scripts and bold headlines, previewed in your own words.
Clean fonts for small engraving
Readable at a few millimeters, good for tags, dates and the fine print on a gift.
Connected scripts
Letters that join, so a name engraves as one smooth line and cuts as one piece.
Bold display fonts
Big statement letters for signs, coasters and tumblers.
Bench tips
- After installing a font, quit xTool Creative Space completely and open it again. It reads fonts when it starts.
- On Windows, choose Install for all users. Some programs only list fonts installed that way.
- Search the font list by family name. "GreatVibes-Regular.ttf" shows up as Great Vibes.

Questions
How do I add fonts to xTool Creative Space?
Download the .ttf or .otf, install it on your computer (Font Book on a Mac, Install for all users on Windows), then quit and reopen xTool Creative Space. The font is in the font list.
Why do I have to restart xTool Creative Space for new fonts?
It reads your installed fonts when it starts, so a font installed while it is open does not show up until you restart it.
Do these fonts work on every xTool laser?
Yes. Fonts live on your computer, not the laser. Whatever xTool Creative Space can show, any xTool it drives can engrave.
Not quite it? Search all of them.
