How to design a hat patch
The full path from a logo to a finished, production-ready hat patch.
Start with the process
Decide UV print (full color) or laser engrave (single tone). This drives how your artwork is treated and which material choices make sense.
Bring in your artwork
Upload a PNG, JPG, or SVG, or add text and shapes. If the art has a busy background, remove it in the browser before you cut a contour.
Choose material and shape
Pick leatherette, vinyl, or acrylic, then a shape — or a custom die-cut contour that traces your artwork’s edges.
Set the size and cut line
Type the exact width and height (inches or millimeters) and set the cut margin. Common hat-patch sizes are one tap away.
Preview and export
Drop the patch on a real cap to sanity-check size and placement, then export your print, cut, and engrave files.
